Fujifilm’s Annex Photo brand experience store turns one

FUJIFILM Canada will celebrate the one year anniversary of Annex Photo, Concept by Fujifilm, Store in Toronto’s trendy Annex district on Saturday, August 19 with an all day event planned in store.

As part of the one year anniversary celebration of the Annex Photo Concept Store, Fujifilm will give away one Instax® Mini 9 instant film camera every hour on August 19 at the store. To enter for a chance to win, visitors can come to the store, enter their contact information on a ballot and a winner will be randomly selected each hour. There will also be an instagram contest for an additional Instax Mini 9 camera when customers post a photo with a special hashtag and tag the @annexphotostore instagram account. There will be free gourmet ice-pops from @thepopstand, caricature sketches (1-4pm) and door crasher specials.

With an 83 year legacy of imaging and photography, Fujifilm developed the Wonder Photo Shop as a catalyst for a Photo Renaissance, the rebirth of the enjoyment of photography. The Annex Photo concept store is a hybrid of the global Wonder Photo Shop locations, joining the other stores in: Tokyo, Japan; Bogota, Columbia; Shanghai, China; Barcelona, Spain; Istanbul, Turkey; Auckland, New Zealand; New York, USA; and, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. There are now 40 stores in 22 countries

At the Annex Photo store, guests can experience an engaging and interactive retail space with new, exciting printing capabilities including  easy connectivity to mobile devices, instant print kiosks and print stations with a wide range of product options including metal and canvas wall décor, framed and collage prints, mugs and more.

Annex Photo also features a full range of Fujifilm’s instax instant film cameras, including the new instax Square SQ10 and instax Share smartphone printer, allowing guests to see the true photographic heritage of Fujifilm and develop their own vision of how to creatively capture and use their photos. The store also hosts occasional themed DIY workshops, most recently with a wedding theme, that is offered through the Annex Photo enewsletter.
