Bethesda exec says bringing ‘Fallout 76’ to the Nintendo Switch isn’t ‘doable’

Don’t expect Fallout 76 to make its way to the Nintendo Switch. Bethesda executive Pete Hines confirmed during a panel at an Australian convention this weekend that while the studio considered bringing the game to the platform, it just “wasn’t doable.” Hines says the Nintendo platform is “part of every conversation” when they develop new games because it is considered a “viable platform” but it seems it wasn’t going to work out this time around. That said, Bethesda has ported a lot of its games to the Switch, including Skyrim, Doom, and Wolfenstein II. While you won’t be able to play Fallout 76 on the Switch, it’ll be coming to the Xbox One, PS4, and PC on November 14^th.
