Samsung introduces folding smartphone/tablet concept

Samsung has gone and bet the future on folding displays. Shown at their developer conference today was a highly-guarded reference design for a tablet that can be bent and folded to create a smartphone. Samsung is calling this the 'Infinity Flex' display.

This, in essence, is made up of two displays without a border. While the hardware is impressive, the software needs to adhere to the new physics of folding the interface in two. Android has apparently made provisions for 'Foldables' which is now a thing, I guess. Production on Samsung's folding device will kick in next year.
