Linksys adds affordable dual-band mesh router option to its Velop portfolio

Linksys announced a more affordable dual-band Velop mesh router system. Similar to the current tri-band version, but physically smaller and priced less. Dual band Velop is completely modular – but this also means that you can intersperse dual-band and tri-band Velops in the same network, according to your needs. It’ll hit store shelves in the US on May 15th (with pre-orders starting on Amazon.com on May 1st). Availability in Canada starts June 8th.
