Greg Grunberg teases possible return in ‘Star Wars: Episode IX’

Lucasfilm

Rumour has it frequent J.J. Abrams collaborator Greg Grunberg is coming back in Star Wars: Episode IX. The actor—who has appeared in other Abrams-helmed projects like Lost, Star Trek, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens—hinted at the possibility of his character Resistance pilot Temmin “Snap” Wexley coming back for Episode IX. He didn’t outright confirm the news, but this is what he said to Yahoo! News: “You know what—we’d better [return] or else my wife is going to kill me for growing a beard. I can’t officially say anything, but this is getting itchy, and I’m getting itchy to go over there and do it.” Grunberg was referring to the beard he had to grow for the character in The Force Awakens. Episode IX is set to start production later this month, so we should be hearing something soon.
