'Call of Duty: Mobile' is now live for both Android and iOS
While some users have spotted the game over the past few weeks, today marks the official day that Call of Duty: Mobile is available on both Android and iOS in Canada.
Developed by Activision and Tencent's Timi division, the game offers a full-fledged Call of Duty multiplayer experience on smartphones. It's mostly free-to-play, but there are in-app purchases that can go as high as $139.99. There is even a Fortnite-inspired "battle pass" available for the game.
Some of the franchise-favourite modes have been ported into the game, including Team Deathmatch, Frontline, Hardpoint, and Battle Royale, to name a few. There are also characters and maps seen in other Call of Duty games including Modern Warfare's Soap MacTavish and Modern Warfare's Crossfire, among others.
To play Call of Duty: Mobile, it needs at least 2GB of RAM to run, a decent chipset, and around 1.6GB of storage.
