RING introduces seven integrated outdoor Smart Light products
The nights are getting darker earlier this time of year and we look to illuminate our ways for safety and better view of who, or what, is moving closer to our home at night time. RING recently introduced seven new outdoor motion sensing Smart Lights to the range that not only light the darkest corners in the yards and pathways at night, but they’re also integrated thanks to the new Ring Bridge. When one light turns on so can the rest of them. The motion sensing lights would obviously come in handy for having better lit views of who's approaching the house but they've come in handy these past couple of weeks when the dog needed to go out and do his business. Since there seems to be an increase in skunk and racoon sightings in our residential streets, the new lights have given us fair warning when the troublemakers come too close for comfort before we even unlock the door. With Halloween quickly approaching you can also see who’s trick o’ treating before they even reach the front steps.
The new line of lights are surprisingly affordable and easy-to-install offering many combinations to meet each person’s outdoor needs. With the easy integration, you can have your lights all “speak to each other,”meaning when one light is triggered to light up the rest can as well via the Ring Bridge. The lights can also be grouped so you can customize only certain ones to integrate and vary the groups offering unpredictable lighting.
I love the ability to receive notification via the Ring App (iOS and Android) on my phone even when I’m away from the house or soaking in a bubble bath after a long and can't get to the door. In addition, with the Ring Video Doorbell 2, you can set to record as soon as motion is detected by the Smart Light for clearer visibility at night time. The app, also give you options including the ability to customize the intensity of light as well as motion sensitivity. If you need to look back at the activity of each device, the app also offers a history capturing moments of when the lights have been activated.
