Google Photos adds new ‘Crop & Adjust’ feature to help keep photos of documents readable

Google Photos is making it easier for you to capture photos of receipts and other documents. Similar to the other AI-powered suggested actions in Google Photos, a new crop and adjust option will show up if it detects text-heavy images. If you select that option, it’ll automatically crop the picture to take out the background, clean up the edges, and improve readability. The feature is coming to the Android version of the app.
