Dell continues its lifestyle focus: XPS 13 2-in-1
Dell recently launched its XPS 13 2-in-1 at Computex in Taiwan, pointing to its balance of performance, design, and convenience.
The new XPS 13 2-in-1 has a refined 16:10 InfinityEdge display with 10th Gen Intel Core processors. It boasts higher performance (up to 2.5x) than the previous generation and is an overall 8% thinner in design. The device was lighter, which is particularly important in tablet mode.
In line with the InfinityEdge display, the XPS 13 2-in-1 has an edge-to-edge MagLev keyboard as well as an increased touchpad area by 19%. The fingerprint reader is placed in the power button to allow room for the wider keyboard.
The InifinityEdge display was accomplished by using sequential hinges that virtually eliminates the bottom display border. Many of the colour details on the XPS are matched to create a sleeker, seamless look.
The battery life is reported to be up to 16 hours, with dual fans and an ultra-thin vapour chamber to cool the higher-powered processors.
The XPS 13 2-in-1 also has a built-in sensor so that you can open the lid and power up within milliseconds, no matter what power-state you choose. As average daily screen time is increasing, Dell has incorporated an Eyesafe display which intelligently redesigns the light emission and colour filter to reduce harmful blue light.
Dell promises premium design, ultimate experience, and leading innovation in its XPS product line. The new XPS13 2-in-1, with improvements in weight, performance, and design detail, is evidence of Dell’s product strategy.
