McDonald's brings plant-based Beyond Meat Burgers to select Ontario branches

If you wanted to try the plant-based Beyond Meat Burger, McDonald's is bringing it to nine cities across Ontario in the form of the P.L.T. That's Plant Lettuce Tomato for you. Quirky name aside, the burger comes with the Beyond Meat patty, cheese, tomato, onions, ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise. Twenty-eight McDonald's locations across nine towns in southwestern Ontario will be offering the burger. You can check out the complete list over at McDonald's site. There's also a peek at the nutritional summary and ingredients and allergens of the burger in the same link. It'll be available for 12 weeks starting on September 30th for CA$6.49.
