'Destiny 2' to get crossplay support in 2021

Destiny 2 has just arrived on the next-generation Sony PlayStation 5 and Microsoft Xbox Series X/S consoles. Now, we learn from Bungie that cross-platform play support will be coming sometime in 2021. The developer has been slowly adding cross-platform features since last year. There's already cross-save support, and now Xbox One owners can play with Xbox Series X/S.

But Bungie hasn't fully brought crossplay yet. But that will be coming in the new year. The game is now available on the Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, PC, and Stadia. There is one issue the developer still has to deal with, too. Destiny 2's PvP play has been rife with cheating, and gamers are not amused.
