Starbucks brings Beyond Meat to Canadian branches

Starting next Tuesday, March 3, Starbucks in Canada will be introducing one breakfast sandwich that uses the plant-based Beyond Meat sausage in over 1,400 of its stores. The offering will be pilot tested in the country, and it's part of the spring menu. Earlier this year, Starbucks said it was committed to a "resource-positive future," which includes expanding its offerings to include these plant-based options. The introduction of this egg, cheddar, and Beyond Meat sausage is the beginning. Starbucks pledges to phase out plastic straws as well.
