Apple announced a slew of new iPad Pros today featuring improved display technology, a faster A12Z Bionic processor with an 8-Core GPU, a Pro camera array with wide and ultra-wide features, as well as trackpad support by way of a new magic keyboard. The new 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro will be available in silver and space grey finishes. A starting configuration of 128GB offers pro customers more room for their apps and content, along with 256GB, 512GB and 1TB configurations.
Available today, the 11-inch iPad Pro starts at $1,049 (CAD) for the Wi-Fi model and $1,249 (CAD) for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model and the 12.9-inch iPad Pro starts at $1,299 (CAD) for the Wi-Fi model and $1,499 (CAD) for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model from apple.com. Apple is clearly inserting the iPad Pro into the best portable computer option conversation and now competes with devices like Microsoft Surface Pro. A lot of the innovation will come by way of an iOS 13.4 which ships on March 24 and enables trackpad support, a feature that was available but only through accessibility features.
