'Assassin's Creed Valhalla' to let you choose between male or female version of your character

Assassin's Creed Valhalla won't be the first Assassin's Creed game to offer you the option to choose between a male and a female character. That honour already belongs to 2018's Assassin's Creed Odyssey. But now, Valhalla will let you choose either the male or female version of the same character. And yes, both choices will still be considered canon to the story, according to narrative director Darby McDevitt. The female version will be available in the game's collector's edition.

In the game, you play as Eivor, who is described as a "fierce Viking raider raised on tales of battle and glory." You lead a group of Norsemen that have been driven out of Norway by "endless wars and dwindling resources in the ninth century CE." Assassin's Creed Valhalla is expected to arrive in Holiday 2020 season. It'll come to the Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Google Stadia, Ubisoft's UPlay+, and the Epic Games Store.
