It looks like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 will be launched at the upcoming Unpacked event on August 5. Ross Young, founder and CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants, confirms that the foldable device will debut then. Young originally shared the specs of the Galaxy Z Fold 2, and now he adds information that the gadget will start assembly in September and will be shipped in early October. Max Weinbach retracts his original statement and corroborates the timeline. Industry insider IceUniverse also says the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will launch on August 5, but it'll come to China early, starting September 20.
