Samsung Canada will continue to partner with Centennial College's Electronics Engineering Technician program through 2023. The company has worked with Centennial College over the last five years and supported over 275 Centennial students to develop essential skills to pursue career opportunities in electronics engineering for digital appliances. According to Centennial College, some program graduates are working for Samsung Service Centres across the province.

Samsung and Centennial developed the Samsung Tech Institute and the Electronics Engineering Technician program integrate curriculum to respond to the growing demand for electronic technicians in the digital home appliance service sector.

The two-year program is a fully-functioning digital servicing and home appliance lab at Centennial's Progress Campus. Students can interact with their peers in the space and show the skills they've learned in the classroom using Samsung's equipment. It serves as a practical reference as they go through the certification process.
