Netflix experiments with a sleep timer on Android

If you're the type of person who watches Netflix shows before you fall asleep, you might like what the streaming service is testing out. Some Android users are getting a sleep timer function via a new clock icon in the interface. It will come in handy if you don't want to miss a spot on a show or movie you're watching because you fell asleep while watching it, and it will help conserve your phone's battery, too.

When you are watching something and want to set a timer, you tap on the icon and select a time between 15, 30, or 45 minutes. Or you can opt for the app to stop playing videos after an episode or a film is done streaming. If users enjoy utilizing this feature, Netflix might consider a wider release. For now, it's available for adult profiles on the service.
