First 'Uncharted' trailer with Tom Holland, Mark Wahlberg drops

Sony is finally ready to show you a bit of its upcoming live-action adaptation of the video game franchise Uncharted. The film has been in the making for over a decade, but now you just have a few months until it arrives in theatres on February 11. Tom Holland plays the lead Nathan Drake, and we see some iconic moments of Drake from the games, which some fans might appreciate. He is joined by Mark Walhberg as Sully, Drake's mentor. Wahlberg was initially set to play Drake, but development took so long, and we ended up with a much younger lead. Zombieland and Venom director Ruben Fleischer has finally seen the film through.

Of course, Sony Pictures is using this trailer as an opportunity to promote a remastered bundle of Uncharted 4 and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy that's coming to PlayStation 5 and PC in early 2022. Those unfamiliar viewers who are coming into the franchise might want to check out the games after all.
