Razer introduces Kaira, Kaira Pro headset for PS5

Razer

Razer introduces a new pair of headphones for the PlayStation 5. The console gets its version of the Kaira and Kaira Pro. Razer has adopted a white and black colourway with hints of blue instead of its usual colour palette. The headphones are covered by leatherette in place of the usual breathable mesh fabric.

The more expensive Kaira Pro comes with HyperSense haptics, which delivers vibration to match the games you're playing. The Pro also gets TriForce 50mm drivers in titanium for improved audio quality. It has a HyperClear supercardioid mic, while the standard model has a cardioid one.

Both headsets get SmartSwitch that lets you connect to a 2.4GHz dongle or low-latency Bluetooth and a 3.5mm audio jack for wired use. They both have a USB-C HyperSpeed audio transmitter with a USB-A adapter for broader compatibility.

The Razer Kaira retails for US$99.99 (around CA$126 converted), while the Razer Kaira Pro is US$199.99 (CA$252). The Kaira is available now, while the Kaira Pro is available for pre-order on November 30. The target release is in December.
