Apple will fix faulty speakers on a 'small percentage' of iPhone 12, 12 Pro for free

If you noticed an issue with your iPhone 12 or 12 Pro's speaker, you might be eligible for a free repair from Apple. The company shared on a blog post that a "very small percentage" of devices manufactured between October 2020 and April 2021 might have some audio issues due to a component failure on the receiver module. If you can't omit the unwanted sound from the receiver when you make or take calls, you might be eligible for this free repair. You can find more information on how to verify your eligibility through this link.

This repair program doesn't include the iPhone 12 mini or Pro Max, so you'll have to pay for the repair of any problems there.
