TikTok is launching a delivery service of food from viral videos

TikTok

TikTok is introducing a way for its users in the US to try out the food from viral videos without needing to make them. The social network is working with Virtual Dining Concepts to bring the TikTok Kitchen food delivery service to life. It'll launch in around 30 US locations beginning March 2022.

Customers can order dishes like baked feta pasta, a smash burger, corn ribs, and pasta chips. It isn't clear how often the menu will change, but TikTok will reportedly credit the creators who made these dishes. They will be "featured prominently throughout the partnership."

"Proceeds from TikTok Kitchen sales will go to both support the creators who inspired the menu item and to encourage and assist other creators to express themselves on the platform in keeping with TikTok's mission to inspire creativity and bring joy to its users," TikTok said.
