'League of Legends: Wild Rift' open beta kicks off in North America on March 29

After being available in other regions, League of Legends: Wild Rift is coming to North and South America on March 29 for its first open beta. Open beta players will get complete access to all of Wild Rift's features, like earning champions, buying skins, and playing matches on Summoner's Rift.

You can't consider Wild Rift to be a direct port of the original League of Legends game, though. According to developer Riot Games, it revamped everything to make the game more playable on mobile devices.

The open beta is currently only for Android and iOS, but Wild Rift will be coming to consoles, too. Riot Games hasn't said when the beta will close or when is the release date for the final game.

If you've been using a European account to try out Wild Rift, you might want to check out this blog post on how to move your account to the right region.
