Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 gets updated internals

Source: Microsoft

Microsoft has just updated its Surface laptop line with the Surface Laptop 4. The significant upgrade to this machine is its new processors. Everything else is the same as its predecessor. As for build options, you can choose between Alcantara or metal finish in sandstone, black, platinum, or the new ice blue colour. Colour availability depends on the configuration you choose.

You get the same 201ppi touchscreen display, clamshell body, studio mic array, built-in HD front-facing camera, and Dolby Atmos speakers.

For the 13.5-inch models, the basic option starts at $1,299.99 for the Platinum Alcantara variant with an AMD Ryzen 5 chipset with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Meanwhile, the most expensive configuration for this size is the Matte Black Metal option with an Intel Core i7 chipset and 32GB of RAM + 1TB of storage. It's priced at $3,049.99.

The base model for the 15-inch variant is priced at $1,749.99. It's a Platinum Metal option with an AMD Ryzen 7 processor with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The most expensive configuration is $100 more than the priciest 13-inch option. Priced at $3,149.99, you get the 15-inch model in the same configuration as its 13-inch counterpart.

Microsoft is offering both English and French Canadian keyboard options for the Surface Laptop 4. You can check out the different configurations here.
