Samsung's SmartThings Find can now help you find secretly-placed SmartTags

We know that Apple is working on a feature to keep stalkers far away, which will take advantage of its rumoured AirTags that's supposedly launching today. But now, it looks like Samsung wants you to know it offers an alternative. Its SmartThings Find network gets a couple of new features.

The first one is the "Unknown Tag Search" that detects and lists Galaxy SmartTags that don't belong to you but are moving near you. The feature is designed to "ensure nobody is secretly tracking your location." The other feature adds Bixby integration to let you do a hands-free search for your named SmartTags. According to 9to5Google, these features are rolling out next week and require an updated version of the SmartThings app.
