WhatsApp tests chat history migration between Android & iOS

Your messaging app of choice might already allow for chat history migration between platforms. But that's something that isn't available on WhatsApp yet—until now. The Facebook-owned messaging service is reportedly testing out this option, which is part of the app's new strategic change to run WhatsApp on multiple devices simultaneously.

A screenshot from WABetaInfo shows that those on iOS need the latest WhatsApp update available on the App Store or Test Flight to avoid any compatibility error with the Android app. We don't know yet how to test this feature or when it'll be released, but we're hoping it comes sooner than later.
