Twitter no longer crops images

Twitter has gotten rid of its algorithm crops on pictures. So, if you upload a photo on iOS or Android, you'll see the image in its entirety. Those who take a lot of vertical pictures are very happy with this change, as CNET reported. Before this, the service's algorithm would determine the most sensible part of the picture to crop and just show a preview on the feed. And while it does take out the surprise element of previewed images, this change helps visual artists and photographers on the platform showcase their work in the way they're meant to be seen.
