Nanoleaf Elements bring wood-like smart light panels into your home
Nanoleaf wants to improve the ambiance in your home with its new Elements line featuring Wood Look Hexagons. The smart lights feature a wood-like veneer, so light can shine through when it's on, but it won't look blank when not in use. When you aren't using these Elements lights, they'll just look like wooden decorations hanging from your wall, which won't look too out of place in your home.
These lights work similarly to other Nanoleaf hexagonal light panels. They glow from the front and back for a double lighting effect, and they're programmable with different lighting patterns and effects. You won't get the full-colour spectrum LED, but you can adjust these from warm to cool white light. They come with 11 preset lighting effects, or you can use the Nanoleaf app to program it yourself.
The touch-sensitive light panels can be synced to music or set to have their white temperature automatically change throughout the day based on circadian rhythms. These panels support voice commands and are compatible with Apple HomeKit, Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings, and IFTTT integrations. They will also get Thread compatibility later this month, which turns them into Thread border routers to serve as hubs for a Thread network and extend the signal in your home.
The Nanoleaf Elements Smarter Kits come with seven panels that you can arrange any way you like. You can get it for CAD 299.99. You can get additional packs of three for CAD 99.99 per pack. You can now get it through the Nanoleaf website or at Apple stores and online later this year.
