Twitter lets you change who can reply to your tweet after posting it

Twitter has already rolled out the option to limit who can reply to your tweets last year. But you needed to complete this action before posting. Now, the company is releasing an update that lets you choose who can reply after posting your tweet. It will be available worldwide on Android, iOS, and the web.

To change the reply options, you just need to tap on the ellipsis menu in the top-right corner of the tweet and select "Change who can reply" from the dropdown menu. You can choose between "Everyone," "People you follow," and "Only people you mention."

This feature aims to reduce harassment on the site, as it gives you reins on who can interact with you. But, as MacRumors noted, it can also unintentionally restrict constructive debate and amplify your online "echo chamber" at the same time.
