Apple introduces new low-cost iPad, redesigned iPad mini

Apple has launched two new iPads from its stable. These include a more affordable iPad and a new iPad mini. The former now runs on an A13 processor with a 12-megapixel front-facing camera that supports the company's Center Stage feature. It's built to get an improved video call experience on the 10.2-inch tablet, which mobile workers and students need more than ever.

The iPad's base storage option is now at 64GB, but you can also get a 256GB model. There is also an LTE option if you need that. This tablet gets a starting price of $429, and it's available in Space Grey and Silver.

If you prefer the iPad mini, it now has a flatter design similar to the iPhone 12. Apple shrinks the bezels on the 8.3-inch display and migrates the fingerprint sensor from the front to the top button.

This iPad now runs on the new A15 Bionic processor and uses USB-C charging instead of Apple's Lightning port. It also gets 5G connectivity.

The iPad mini now supports Apple Pencil 2nd-generation. It also gets a 12-megapixel rear camera and stereo speakers.

You can get it in Space Grey, Pink, Purple, and Starlight. It is also available in either 64GB or 256GB storage options, with a starting price of $649.

The Apple iPad and iPad mini are now available for pre-order, with their release slated for September 24.
