HP EliteBook 805 laptops get Ryzen Pro 6000 chipsets

HP unveiled new business laptops built for hybrid work. One of those is the new HP EliteBook 805 series. These machines run on AMD's Ryzen Pro 6000 processor and have a taller-than-standard 16:10 aspect ratio, making it easier to scan through documents and spreadsheets.
There are three variations for the EliteBook 805 G9 laptops: the 835, 845, and 865. The middle number refers to the screen sizes of each model. The 835 has a 13.3-inch display, the 845 has a 14-inch screen, and the 865 gets a 16-inch display. Unfortunately, the highest spec is a 1,920 x 1,200 resolution, without any mentions of touch support for now.
The 835 can be configured up to 16GB of DDR5 RAM, while the 845 and 865 can be maxed out at 64GB. According to HP's spec sheets, the larger models can have "customer-accessible / upgradeable" memory slots, while the 835 won't have that option. HP hasn't given what CPU configurations will be available, probably because the Ryzen Pro 6000 was just launched. But we should hear more when it comes to the market.
All models get Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and PCIe Gen4x4 SSDs (2TB max). There are two USB-A 3.1 G1 ports (a.k.a. the original USB 3.0), two USB4 Type-C, an HDMI 2.0 port, a headphone and mic combo jack, and a nano-SIM slot for the optional LTE modem. Battery sizes are 38, 51, or 76-watt hours, depending on the size.
There is no pricing yet, but HP is expected to launch the EliteBook 805 G9s sometime in April.
