HP EliteOne 800 G9, Presence AIO Conferencing PC with Zoom Rooms are hybrid work-ready machines
HP has a couple of new all-in-ones it has explicitly designed to work in this age of hybrid work. Commercial customers can easily deploy the HP EliteOne 800 G9 All-In-One in an office or at an employee's home. It offers a larger display than laptops and more capable webcams while simplifying cable management, especially when compared to desktop workstations.
The EliteOne G9 comes with a 23.8-inch or 27-inch display, with a stand that doubles as a Qi-compatible wireless phone charger. It can work as a secondary display for a laptop or standalone monitor (by decoupling the CPU from the screen).
You can opt for a 5-megapixel or 16-megapixel "binning camera." The latter promises clearer footage in low light. The camera is tiltable and can be rotated 180 degrees. The AIO's microphones are designed to pick up audio from up to three metres away.
It runs on Intel's 12th-generation Core processors, and it is configurable to get a dedicated NVIDIA graphics chip.
Meanwhile, the HP Presence All-In-One Conferencing PC with Zoom Rooms is designed for use in small meeting areas. It has similar specs to the EliteOne G9, but it gets an extra feature of quick access to virtual conferences via Zoom (as the name suggests).
Both are scheduled to arrive in May, but there currently isn't any pricing for either device.
