Microsoft Surface Duo finally gets Android 11 update

It's been a long wait, but Microsoft is finally rolling out the Android 11 update to unlocked Surface Duos in North America and Europe. Microsoft initially promised the update was coming before the end of 2021. With this update's arrival, we've set our sights on watching out for Android 12, which isn't even available on the Surface Duo 2. 

Windows Central reports that Microsoft is planning to skip Android 12. Instead, it'll jump right into Android 12L, which is built to improve the operating system on larger screens. That would be a more logical option. Hopefully, that arrives quicker than the last update.
