LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier's companion app launches on mobile

One buzzworthy pandemic tech is becoming a bit more useful. The LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier finally gets its official companion app for Android and iOS. It's been out in some markets since at least five months ago, but better late than never, we guess.

The companion app will make it easier to track usage history, manage filters, and see real-time battery information. It can also display respiratory information, like respiratory volume and frequency. You can adjust the mic's volume within the app for the built-in "VoiceOn" feature (the mic and speakers). It also lets you manually change the fans' speed or enable the Turbo Fan Mode when using the mask while engaging in intense physical activity.

The app will also allow you to view activity information by different periods, and it'll be responsible for pushing out any software updates coming to the wearable air purifier.
