OPPO Find N2 Flip is the latest flip phone contender
OPPO is entering the flip smartphone segment with its newest announcement, the OPPO Find N2 Flip. The company introduced it in its home country, China, but it has plans to introduce this phone internationally.
While it still has that compact form factor of flip devices, OPPO adds a tall 3.62-inch cover screen. It's a 60Hz OLED panel with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. You can take selfies or framing shots, show QR codes, and access settings on the phone from this tiny display.
Inside, that's paired with a 6.8-inch, 120Hz LTPO AMOLED screen with HDR10+ support, 97% DCI-P3 coverage, and brightness up to 1,600 nits. The Find N2 Flip runs on a Dimensity 9000+ chip with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. This flip phone has the largest battery for its form factor so far, with a 4,300mAh battery and 44W charging.
The OPPO Find N2 Flip gets a dual-rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor and an 8-megapixel IMX355 ultrawide unit. The inner display houses a 32-megapixel camera.
The OPPO Find N2 Flip launched in China now, but the company plans an international release for this phone. Pricing goes up to CNY 7,000 (around CA$1,375) for the highest spec with 16GB RAM + 512GB storage.
