Dyson Zone to launch in select markets in March 2023

Source: Dyson

Canada isn't on the initial list for the Dyson Zone's release, but we do want to share some of the features the company hasn't shared earlier. The Dyson Zone goes for a hefty US$949 (approx. CA$1,289), and it comes to countries like the US, the UK, China, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Two colourways are coming to the US: Ultra Blue/Prussian Blue and Prussian Blue/Bright Copper. The latter will only be available directly through the company, and it comes with extra accessories, including a second electrostatic carbon filter, a soft pouch, and an inflight adaptor kit.

Both models will come with the Zone's visor, along with a dedicated sleeve and cleaning brush. Dyson says the electrostatic filters are rated to last up to 12 months before needing replacement.

We didn't know the specifics about the audio and battery life of the Zone before, but now we can talk about it. The Dyson Zone is capable of up to 38 decibels of noise cancellation and comes with 40mm neodymium drivers. The MyDyon app can help you choose between three audio equalization modes (Dyson EQ, Bass Boost, and Neutral).

As for battery life, it varies significantly depending on what you're using it for. If you aren't using the visor, the 2,600mAh battery can last up to 50 hours of listening time on a full charge. If you use the visor in its highest flow settings, the comes down to only one and a half hours. It takes around three hours to fully charge this device.
