Tile introduces new 'Scan and Secure' feature to alert you of unwanted trackers

The rise of the adoption of Bluetooth-enabled trackers came at the cost of some unsavoury characters using the feature to track/stalk other people. Tile is addressing this problem by introducing a new feature. The company calls it Scan and Secure, accessible through Tile's app. You won't need to sign up for a Tile account, but you will need to install another one on your phone. Tile promises Scan and Secure is one of the first steps it takes to ensure that its users are safe. And they say they are working with experts to find ways to improve safety-related features.
