Ecobee thermostats rumoured to get refreshed

Rumoured Ecobee Premium model (C/O Canadian Tire)

There might be a couple of new Ecobee thermostats coming out soon. The Ecobee Enhanced and Premium models were spotted online. The former was in a Reddit post, while the latter was spotted via a retail listing from Canadian Tire. It looks like both models are set to replace the 2016 Ecobee3 Lite and the 2019 Ecobee SmartThermostat with voice control.

The Premium model looks like it'll replace the flagship SmartThermostat with its built-in microphone that supports Siri and Alexa. It gets air quality monitoring, which the older model doesn't have. It looks like the thermostat's interface has been upgraded with visual clutter taken out and critical information (like temperature) made more visible.

It's unclear what Enhanced offers, but it looks like it gets the same redesigned interface as the Premium. It's unclear when either thermostat will be released, though. But the SmartThermostat is already listed as out of stock on its website, so the successor might arrive sooner rather than later.
