GE Profile Mixer has voice control, smart scale

Source: Crate & Barrel

GE Appliances brought to CES its first smart mixer. The GE Profile Mixer has a smart scale built in. That's combined with auto-sense technology, which keeps track of texture and viscosity. So, not only do you get the correct measurement, it makes sure the ingredients won't be overwhipped. Of course, it relies on recipes it knows.

The GE Profile also has support for Alexa or Google Assistant, so you can stop, adjust and set the speed, and set a timer without touching the machine. All this tech comes at a premium, though. GE is selling the Profile for US$1,000 (around CA$1,335) exclusively through US retailer Crate & Barrel.
