Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE Plus: What you need to know
Samsung has launched two new tablets for fans of affordable and versatile devices: the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus. Both tablets share some features, such as a Samsung Exynos 1380 processor and Arm Mali-G68 GPU for smooth performance. They both have a 12-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera for capturing photos and videos. Samsung adds IP68 water and dust resistance for both tablets. They both get AKG-tuned dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support for immersive sound and S Pen support for writing and drawing on the screen.
Of course, they differ in some aspects, too. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE has a 10.9-inch WUXGA+ (2303 x 1440) LCD screen, while the Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus has a 12.4-inch 2560 x 1600 LCD. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE's two storage options are 128GB with 6GB of RAM and 256GB with 8GB of RAM. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus' two storage options are 128GB with 8GB of RAM and 256GB with 12GB of RAM. Both offer storage expansion via microSD.
The Galaxy Tab S9 FE has a Wi-Fi only or Wi-Fi + 5G option, while the Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus is only available with Wi-Fi. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus has a larger battery capacity of 10,090mAh, compared to the Galaxy Tab S9 FE’s 8,000mAh. Both tablets come in four colors: gray, silver, lavender, and mint. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE series starts at $599.99 and is available to purchase now. They launch alongside the Galaxy S23 FE and Galaxy Buds FE.
