Pokémon fans can now buy a US$29,000 Pikachu necklace from Tiffany & Co.
The Pokémon Company and Tiffany & Co. have teamed up to release a series of Pokémon jewellery, with the most expensive piece costing US$29,000 (around CA$39,727). According to VGC, the collection consists of nine pieces ranging from US$1,290 (~CA$1,767) to $29,000. The priciest one is a Pikachu pendant made of 18-karat yellow gold with diamond accents. It comes in two sizes: standard and small.
The collection also includes seven pendants made of oxidized sterling silver with diamond accents. Six feature individual Pokémon, such as Cubone, Charmander, Mew, Jigglypuff, and Squirtle, priced at US$1,290 each. The seventh one features all six Pokémon together, but its price is unknown. However, Bulbasaur fans will be disappointed, as the grass-type Pokémon is not part of the collection.
The Pokémon jewellery will be available for purchase on the Tiffany & Co. website for only 24 hours, starting November 29 at 6 a.m. Pacific / 9 a.m. Eastern / 2 p.m. UK and ending at the same time on November 30.
