Magic Compose in Google Messages comes to more markets

Google introduced Magic Compose, a feature that helps users write better messages, at I/O 2023. It was first available only in the US. But now, it looks like it has expanded to other countries. It's been reported to be available in France and the UK.

Magic Compose is designed to analyze your previous messages and generate suggestions based on the context. To use it, you'll need to tap the pencil and sparkle icon next to the text field. You can choose from a list of suggestions and insert them into the text field. You can also change the style of their message to one of the seven options: Remix, Excited, Chill, Shakespeare, Lyrical, Formal, or Short. The messages are not saved or used by Google for any other purpose. They are deleted from the servers after the analysis.

When it launched, the feature required users to have an Android phone with a US SIM card. But with its reported availability in other markets that might change. However, you still need the beta versions of Google Messages and Carrier Services, sign into your Google account, and be over 18 years old. Google One Premium members get early access to the feature as more spots open up.
