Netflix to debut ‘3 Body Problem’ experience at CES 2024
Netflix is bringing its highly anticipated sci-fi drama series 3 Body Problem to CES 2024, where it will offer attendees a chance to step into the mysterious world of the show through a virtual reality headset.
The streaming giant will have a booth at the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. It will showcase an “immersive experience” based on the series, which is adapted from the best-selling novel trilogy by Cixin Liu. The virtual experience will feature the series trailer, which will be unveiled for the first time at CES, as well as clues about the main plot of the show.
3 Body Problem follows a group of scientists and a detective who must face the consequences of a young woman’s decision in 1960s China that affects the fate of humanity across space and time. The series, which will premiere on March 21, 2024, is created by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss (Game of Thrones) and Alexander Woo (The Terror: Infamy), and stars John Bradley, Jess Hong and Sea Shimooka.
Netflix will also host a press preview of the trailer and the VR experience on Tuesday, January 9, from 10-11 a.m. at its booth, where the creators and the cast will be available for interviews. In addition, Netflix will have a presence at the C Space exhibition area at the Aria Resort & Casino, where it will meet with partners and clients and transform Easy’s Cocktail Lounge into the “Netflix Speakeasy.”
