One of the newest laptops HP debuted at its Amplify Partner Conference works for gamers and content creators. The new HP OMEN Transcend 16 promises to handle demanding AAA titles and graphically-intensive creative programs. This laptop boasts the first mini-LED display on an OMEN laptop. Its 16-inch WQXGA panel gets features like extreme HDR 1000, a 16:10 aspect ratio, a peak brightness of 1,180 nits, and a 240Hz refresh rate.

Another first for the OMEN Transcend 16 is it's the first one to use a magnesium frame, making it the thinnest and lightest gaming laptop from HP at under 2.1kg and 19.9mm thin. It packs in a 97Whr battery pack, runs on up to a 13th-generation Intel Core i9-13900HX mobile processor, up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU, and has access to the OMEN Gaming Hub. This laptop promises to stay cool with advanced OMEN Tempest Cooling tech, a new square vent design that yields more air intake to improve airflow and skin temperature. The HP OMEN 16 Transcend's starting price is set at USD 1,669.99 (around CAD 2,258).
