PC gamers can soon enjoy 'Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart'

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, a PlayStation 5 exclusive, is coming to PC on July 26 with various enhancements. The PC version will support ray-traced reflections and shadows, unlocked framerates, and multiple upscaling technologies such as NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 2, Intel XeSS, and Insomniac Games’ Temporal Injection. The game will also support ultrawide aspect ratios (21:9, 32:9, and 48:9 aspect ratios) and NVIDIA’s Reflex and Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing features.

Sony has not revealed the PC specifications for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart yet. The game was designed to leverage the PS5’s SSD speed, so an SSD might be required on the PC as well.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is the latest PlayStation game to be ported to PC by Nixxes Software, which has previously worked with Insomniac on Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. These games were well-received on PC, unlike The Last of Us Part I, which had many bugs and performance issues when it launched on PC a few months ago.
