'Hyper Light Breaker' drops new trailer

If you enjoyed Hyper Light Drifter, you might want to check out its sequel, Hyper Light Breaker. Developed by Heart Machine and published by Gearbox, this game promises to take you on a thrilling journey through a colourful and diverse open world. A new trailer released this week gives us an overview of what to expect from this co-op rogue lite adventure.

Hyper Light Breaker is set in the same universe as Hyper Light Drifter but in the not-too-distant future. The game features fully 3D worlds and character models with a stylized aesthetic that blends vibrant colours. The game also has a dynamic weather system and day and night cycles that change with every playthrough, making the world feel more immersive and alive.

The game has a variety of biomes to explore, each with its own challenges and secrets. You can visit green hillsides, snowy peaks, tropical wetlands, and more. You can also find a small city called The Settlement, which might be your hub for quests and upgrades.

Hyper Light Breaker is expected to launch in early access for PC later this year. You can wishlist it on Steam if you want to try it out.
