Corsair Platform:6: A modular desk for gamers, workers, and creatives

Tom Penpark

If you’re looking for a spacious and versatile desk, you might want to check out the Corsair Platform:6 Modular Computer Desk. This desk has a six-foot-wide surface that can be extended by another one foot by two and a third feet, giving you plenty of room to work and play. You can customize it with various features and accessories to suit your needs.

The Platform:6 is designed to cater to different types of users, whether they are gamers, workers, or creatives. For example, the Platform:6 Creator Edition comes with the Elgato Multi Frame, a top-mounted pegboard that lets you mount cameras, controllers, and other devices. You can also add flexible mounts for 3D printing tools or other gadgets.

The Corsair Platform:6 has a modular rail system that consists of an aluminum T-channel crossbar, side rails, and a top-mounted rail. You can also choose to include dual electric motors that allow you to change the desk’s height with an LCD controller that has memory presets.

Each Platform:6 desk gets a smart wire management system that keeps your cables organized and out of sight. It has a Corsair RapidRoute tray that can hold power strips and a small cubby with USB Type-A and Type-C charging ports.

The Platform:6 comes in two finishes: black laminate or dark walnut-stained rubberwood. The latter is more eco-friendly and durable. The desk will be available in Q4 of this year, but the price is unknown. However, we expect it to be on the expensive side given its features and quality.
