'Spider-Man 2' is no longer a PlayStation exclusive

Spider-Man 2 will be the latest PlayStation-exclusive title to make its way to the PC. Sony announced it will be available on Steam and the Epic Game Store starting January 30, 2025. It is the fastest major PlayStation 5 game to be ported to the PC, coming out less than two years after the original launch.

The PC port will include the base game and subsequent downloadable content or LDC. There will be PC-specific features including  “keyboard and mouse controls, ultra-widescreen support, and numerous graphical options." It will also have "enhanced ray-tracing options." But there will be no additional story content planned for the game.

Nixxes Software is handling the port. The Dutch video game developer previously worked on PC versions of the original Spider-Man game and the Miles Morales spin-off among other projects. The studio's upcoming project is the Horizon Zero Dawn remaster coming out on October 31, 2024.
