TikTok Accelerator Program for Indigenous Creators Returns
The TikTok Accelerator for Indigenous Creators, presented by the National Screen Institute, is back for its fourth year.
Applications for this year's program are officially open today and the platform has announced a 650% expansion, growing participation from 40 to 300 Indigenous creators! The program is free and open to SMBs and creators who self-identify as First Nations, Inuit and Métis. The deadline to apply is Friday, October 18, 2024 at 11:59pm Central Time on the National Screen Institute's website.
The program aims to support the growth and development of Indigenous creators, providing opportunities and the essential tools to navigate and succeed in their digital careers.
With billions of views generated from hashtags like #IndigenousTikTok, creators and SMBs will continue to connect and share their stories, knowledge and culture with the global community.
Application Period: Now until Oct. 18, 2024, at 11:59pm Central Time
Program Dates: November to December 2024
Format: Free six-week, part-time online training program
Access: Applicants outside of large urban centres are eligible for a stipend to help cover the cost of internet fees during the course of the training.
