OnePlus 12 and OnePlus Open among first to receive Android 15 Beta 1

OnePlus has announced its latest flagship smartphones—the OnePlus 12 and the foldable OnePlus Open—will be among the first in the world to receive the Android 15 Beta 1 update. Starting May 16, developers and early adopters can access the developer version of OxygenOS based on Android 15 Beta 1. This allows them to explore the new features and APIs before the official release.

Android 15 prioritizes improvements in camera, media, and connectivity while offering new APIs for developers to create innovative applications. Features like Low Light Boost and in-app camera controls empower users to capture stunning visuals. Additionally, the update grants apps access to the latest communication advancements, leading to smoother experiences like NFC payments.
