Philips Hue Secure system gets smarter

Photo: Philips Hue

Good news for Philips Hue Secure users! This summer, an update will bring long-awaited features, making your smart home security even more automatic and convenient.

Here's what you can expect:

  • Automatic lights and siren: When your alarm is armed and motion or contact sensors are triggered, your Philips Hue lights will now flash automatically, along with the siren built into the new Hue cameras. This creates a more deterrent effect without needing manual intervention.
  • Scheduled arming and disarming: Finally, you can set your Philips Hue Secure system to arm and disarm automatically based on a schedule. This takes the guesswork out of security and ensures peace of mind when you're away.

This update coincides with the launch of new Philips Hue products. Look forward to the Datura ceiling light for versatile illumination, the Twilight sunrise lamp for better sleep, decorative Lightguide bulbs for a touch of style, GU10 bulbs, and the budget-friendly Solo light strip for affordable lighting solutions.
